My parents understand how bad I am at cooking in my own place :)
Also got some chocolates and cash (which will likely be used for GT5/PS3, ski gear, and car yearly fixing).
But the best of the best was to be with the family.

Those people on whom Apple will have to rely on in the future for buying their products.
I'm pretty sure that the move to the Intel platform was mere than availibility of a power5 portable. Apple really wants to push forward in the corporate market and needs enterprise apps like Notes.
So in short, I'm one of those who gives. :mad:

Well I'm getting ready to go out tomorrow and purchase a brand new iPhone, but before doing so I made this post to see if anyone would be selling theirs for less than retail so I wont have to go out tomorrow and spend full retail plus tax on one.

just took a look, and these guys have an interesting story about Apple ceasing to use Rendezvous as a brand. I didn't see that on MacRumors, so I might check out Cafe Macs every now and then. Every other site I've seen has had redundant news, but this caught me by surprise.

I want to do a time lapse tilt shift movie, but I want to add the tilt shift after the shot (I do not have a tilt shift lens).

Doubtful since their warranty does not transfer to a second hand buyer. If I were to buy an iPod and then sell it on ebay a few weeks later the new owner would not be covered.

Wow, that looks very nice! I don't have a .Mac account, but I would definitely love one... but not for $99. :( I'm really hoping for a price drop in the near future.

Went to the store bumped down our plan from the 1400 min plan to 700 min. Now we have unltd to any mobile, inbound and out bound!

I have always been curious as to how automator works, but have never really had a need to use it until now. What I would like to accomplish is to setup a workflow where as soon as a file gets put into a folder (music, photos, movies, etc) the automator would then automatically connect to my WDTV Live Hub and send the files.
Is this possible and if so, would anyone be willing to offer some assistance?

I have a question for those of you who get your wallpapers from wallbase. No matter what broswer or OS I use, and even though I am logged in, I still cannot get ANY wallbase pics to load. I click the thumbnail to view it big and it opens in a new tab, but it doesn't show anything.
Am I missing something?

It was a shame there was no leopard / iLife stuff, and on the one hand it was kinda sad to see the name change.
But on the other isn't this just an example of Apple being innovative, changing with the times, and keeping ahead of the game - skating to where the puck's going, and all that?
Not being innovative, changing with the times, and keeping ahead of the game are all things that I thought people like accusing MS of being? So here are Apple being all those things, and still people aren't happy.
My money's on iLife 07 having a bit of a revamp and greater integration with Leopard. I know some of the Apple consistency in design has been a bit AWOL recently, but I wonder if they've been trying things out, and perhaps with leopard / iLife 07 everything will come together again. My oersonal pref for a UI would be something not dissimilar to Aperture - more pro looking than iLife, but a bit more attractive and inviting than final cut etc.
I also think the macs themselves are all pretty much up to date - so we'll likely see a good spread of stuff through the year - iPhone now, leopard/iLife very soon, and mac revisions appearing very soon after that.

Actually i just wrote him the email because i was killing some time at work and i was curious of what the response would be. They are all sold out anyway.... its not like steve can make you return them. I'm also pretty sure Apple knew about it long before i sent the email.
